The highs and the lows of racing for Racers Edge Motorsport at St. Petersburg

Тhe two SIN R1 GT4 racers had excellent races on Friday at St. Petersburg circuit and strong finishes for both with a 3rd for the red 45 and Jade Buford along with an 8th place finish for Jason Bell in the black #2 – in his first GT race and the first race for a brand new car.
After the awesome first day the next day for race two, it seems our luck turned bad. The red 45 that never had a problem is sitting on pre-grid and when the command came to start up and move onto the track, a sudden electrical problem wouldn’t allow the car to start. There was no time to do anything about it, so the car couldn’t start the race after qualifying P2 and looking forward to starting on the front row.
Meanwhile, Jason in the #2, in his first standing start was crowded by some a swarm of other drivers into Turn 1 and had contact with at least one other car. From then on, he had a rough race, scraping the wall and enjoying a few more incidents of contact with other racers, until finally spinning off track caused by damage to the left rear suspension from one of the contact incidents. The damage was done and his car had to retire from the race with broken suspension.
