22nd October 2014 saw the UK launch for Sin Cars and our R1 model road and race cars held at Bruntingthorpe proving ground.
The event started with an interview between host Tim Harvey and Rosen Daskalov the CEO of Sin Cars.
Guests were educated about the founding history of Sin Cars, the company’s passion for engineering, the facilities and factory and the future for our brand.
On show were the R1 Road version which had completed it’s testing over the summer and even completed a 1500 Mile journey to get to the event.
Alongside was the GT3 B race car that had competed in the 2014 GT Cup and was race ready for the final round that coming weekend.
Guests were treated to traditional Bulgarian cuisine from one of the leading chef’s in the country that had been flown in especially for the event.
After lunch interval guests were invited to experience the R1 cars in action. Unfortunately the typical British weather meant that the GT3 Race car would remain static and passenger experiences were limited to the road car only.
Our guest driver Jonny MacGregor from MacG racing took behind the wheel to put the car through it’s paces on the rather wet tarmac.
The rain didn’t deter Jonny from showing the cars fantastic handling capabilities and the conditions also allowed us to obtain wet weather data analysis for Michelin on the new pilot sport cup 2 tyres.
The further winter months will see Sin Cars rebuild 2 new cars for display at the Autosport International show at the start of 2015 where we hope to showcase 1 road and 2 race cars that will be ready for purchase following the exhibition.
