On 24.-25.09.2022, the last round of the Australian championship VICTORIA STATE SERIES was held at the PHILLIP ISLAND circuit. The final stage of this championship ended with two convincing victories for Richard Bendell’s Daytona Sports Cars team.
Ben Schoots, in the SIN R1 GT, scored five out of five round wins to become the absolute champion in the SPORTS CARS class for the 2022 season.
The commentators of the championship did not fail to express their admiration for the undeniable skills of Ben Schoots and the performance of the racing SIN on the track. The SIN R1 GT was described as a “magnificent piece of machinery” and Schoots’ wins – “an amazing finish to an incredible season”.
