SIN R1 wins again last weekend

After hard work put in the car’s preparation, Ben Schoots qualified on poll Saturday morning followed by the first race win in midafternoon when won privilege to start on poll again for the main race.
On Sunday, in a 40-minute race, Ben dropped a second off the start and was in second place, but before first lap ends, he already put the car into first place.
He picked up the pace from 1 min 13.57 seconds down to 1min 10.34 seconds during the race over a 3.1km long track in changeable weather conditions. SIN R1’s closest competitor finished at 1 min 12.09 seconds.
The result from race weekend is 4th consecutive full points weekend in Victoria State Race Series 2022.
Another great result for SIN R1 is that Schoots managed to break the lap record for sports class at Sandown Raceway. The record has not been broken over the last 7 years. The result is especially impressive as the track was a very cold and wet.
