Road America on Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, round from Pirelli World Challenge Championship, had a huge crowd on hand of well over 100000 race fans in really exciting race during the last weekend.
Racers Edge Motorsport team with two cars Sin R1 GT4 was confident and ready for both races from the round and there was a reason why. At the end of the weekend the team had poll position, second, third, fourth and sixth position and finished with the fastest lap in the round.
In the first race Jade Buford ,#45 was fastest and stated from poll position. The second Sin R1 GT4, #54, piloted by Scott Heckert started from 5-th position in the grid. Heckert finished on sixth position as he fought with dignity with the other competitors in a close race. Jade Buford, on the other hand, took part in not less spectacular fight with Aston Martin and finished on second position in the final ranking.
The second race was not as spectacular as the first one but, but was not less successful for Racers Edge Motorsport and Sin R1 GT4. Scott started from third position and Jade – from eighth. Although the lost positions during the race, everyone was sure that due to the performance of Sin R1 GT4 this will not last long. And this turned out to be true- Scott Heckert finished on third position and his team-mate right after him, on forth position.
The pilots and the team already look at the next challenge form the season, which will take place on 29 and 30 of July on Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, another legendary South American track.
